Kejurnas Shorinji Kempo Monas Cup 2019 Diikuti Ratusan Peserta dari Seluruh Indonesia
JAKARTA, (LEI) – Tercatat lebih dari 400 peserta remaja dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia mengikuti Kejuaraan Nasional (Kejurnas) Shorinji Kempo Monas Cup 2019 yang diselenggarakan PERKEMI DKI Jakarta.
Event berlangsung pada 25-28 Juli 2019 di GOR Kecamatan Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara ini juga digabung dengan event Invitasi Kempo Provinsi DKI Jakarta tahun 2019.
Ketua Panitia Adi Raviadi Abbas, menjelaskan peserta kejuaraan Invitasi Kempo adalah dari pemula sampai remaja.
“Itu sekitar umur 6 tahun sampai 13 tahun,” ujar Adi Raviadi di GOR Kecamatan Tanjung Priok, Jumat (26/7/2019).
Untuk Kejuaraan Nasional, lanjut Adi, pesertanya merupakan remaja dari umur 15 sampai 17 tahun.
“Ada juga kategori untuk umur 17 tahun ke atas,” katanya.
Menurutnya, sejumlah peserta yang mengikuti event ini juga sebagai persiapan menghadapi event pra PON yang akan berlangsung pada November mendatang.
“Setiap peserta mewakili masing-masing Kota atau Kabupaten, seperti dari Aceh, Nusa Tenggara Timur, dari Padang. Ada juga dari wilayah Kalimantan dan Jawa,” ungkapnya.
Dalam event kali ini, kata Adi, ada pembagian pertandingan, yaitu randori (perkelahian bebas) perorangan, dan EMBU (kerapian teknik/jurus-jurus Kempo) berpasangan dan beregu.
